Pie Crust Recipe
3/4 cup shortening (only vegetable works)
1/4 cup boiling water
2 cups flour
1 tsp salt
I use 1 tsp baking powder

Blend with mixer the shortening & water (whip it) add flour mixed with the salt and baking powder stir in Continue to make crusts. I always roll mine out on wax paper. I have used this recipe for many many years and have made as many as 7 pies at once and never has it failed me. You can double it as often as needed. The recipe is for 1 ,2 crust pie. Mary Ann upstate N.Y. where it is hot and humid right now!
