Frozen yogurt, fruit or juice pops...
Another easy idea for kids or anyone in the hot weather:

Get a couple sets of frozen pops sets with the sticks. (Look for sets at the Dollar store or thrift stores) Pour in fruit flavored yogurt. May also add in some blender pureed fruit like banana or peaches etc, stir in before filling pops. Put sticks in & freeze until firm. Just a quick pass through warm water on the outside will get them to slide out of the cup parts. Another cheap & easy idea is to freeze crystal light or lemonade or even koolaid in a like manner.

This will save you a fortune if you compare the prices with the ice cream man or even the store bought pops. Plus I liked to control the amount of sugar my kids got, & try to sneak in added nutrition with fruit if i could.
