A person from Fort Wayne, IN wanted peanut butter bar recipes. I have two. One I had for while. The other came from a friend of my daughter's at work. I like hers better, but both have been tried.

Peanut Butter Bars (mine)
1/2 C margarine
1/2 C sugar
1/2 C brown sugar
1 egg
1/3 C peanut butter
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2. tso vanilla
1 C flour
1 C oatmeal
1 C chocolate chips

Cream margarine and sugars. Add egg. Blend in peanut butter
and vanilla. Mix dry ingredients. and add to mixture. Spread in a
9X13 greased and floured pan about 15-20 min. in a 350 degree oven. While still hot sprinkle the chocolate chips over the bars. Let stand until cooled. Frost with 1/2 C powdered sugar, 1 Tblsp. milk,1/4 C peanut butter.

Double Delight Bars ( from daughter)
18 oz. white or chocolate cake mix.( I used chocolate)
1/4 C margarine
1 egg

Mix at medium speed 2 min.
Mix 1/2 C peanut butter with 2 Tblsp. water. Add to the batter. Mix well.
Spread evenly in greased 9X13 pan.

Mix together:
1-1/2 sweetened condensed milk
1/2 C peanut butter
Spread over the crust
Bake: 350 oven for 20-25 min.
Can frost with chocolate icing or sprinkle with powdered sugar

Thank you for this recipie exchange. Pillsbury used to have one also, but I don't know if it is still going.
