Ann Lander's Meatloaf
2007 Recipes -May Newsletter Archive

To Print out only the recipe highlight it with your mouse, right click on the highlighted recipe. Choose the option PRINT. Change the Print Range from ALL to SELECTION. Press the PRINT button on the screen.

Ann Lander's Meatloaf

2 lbs. ground round steak
2 eggs
1-1/2 c. bread crumbs
3/4 c. ketchup (I use chili sauce)
1 tsp. Accent (I leave this out)
1/2 c. warm water
1 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix

Mix thoroughly. Put into loaf pan, cover with 2 strips of bacon, if you like that flavor. Pour over all one (8 ounce) can tomato sauce*. Bake one hour at 350 degrees, serves six.

* Instead of using tomato sauce I use chili sauce but I would leave off the ketchup or chili sauce on top when making this in the Better Baker Bowl Maker.
