Easy recipes using everyday ingredients.

To Print out only the recipe highlight it with your mouse, right click on the highlighted recipe.  Choose the option PRINT. Change the Print Range from ALL to SELECTION. Press the PRINT button on the screen.

On the day before pay day, finding my cupboards bare, I came up with this quick skillet dinner.

Bare Cupboard Skillet Supper
4 pork chops
salt and pepper to taste
1 can (14-3/4 oz) beef broth
1 can (14 oz) Italian-style diced tomatoes, undrained
1 pkg. (7 oz) elbow macaroni, uncooked

Salt and pepper pork chops and brown on both sides (about 1 minute per side). Add beef broth and tomatoes to skillet. When liquid comes to a boil, add macaroni. When mixture returns to a boil, turn heat down to allow mixture to gently boil. Cover skillet and cook for 10 minutes. I stirred once during cooking.

My husband would eat it again. that's the real test at our house.
